Week of the Classic: Johnny Hill and Alex Smeraglia Won!
Wow, what a turn out we had this year during the bass tournaments. Friday Sept. 12th was the end of the tournaments with one of the heaviest bags, Johnny Hill and Alex Smeraglia slayed the classic with a winning weight oof 24.65 pounds! Second place winners was Charlie Burns and Greg Lawson with 13.72 pounds and third place was Lee Morgan and David McGinnis with 11.92 pounds. Big Fish went to Johnny and Alex Smeraglia with 6.62 pounds.

Week 23: Mike and Chris Wolfe Won!
Wow, this years weekly tournaments are over, bring on the Classic Friday September 12th! Mike and Chris Wolfe came in first place with 13.39 pounds and also winning Big Fish with it weighting 3.89 pounds. Second place was our new comers Farry Dawson and Joey Chambers with five fish weighing 12.44 pounds. Not far behind them in third place was Jeff England and Justin Hefner with five fishing weighing 12.36 pounds.

Wow, this years tournaments have went by fast this year! Next Friday Sept 5th will be a make-up from the beginning of the tournaments. Alex Smeraglia and Howard Dewberry came in first with the winning weight of 13.68 pounds. Second place went to Mike Forrester and Scotty Lewis with 5 fish weighing 12.71 pounds. Third place went to a new fishing team Brooks and Madison Phillips with 5 fish weighing 11.52 pounds. Big Fish went to Jeff England and Justin Hefner with a 3.71 pounder!

Wow, week 21 is done! The tournament is almost over this year. In the results I have asterisks by the teams that have 10 or more entries (those eligible for the Classic). If you and your team want to participate in the Classic tournament, make sure you have 10 entries!
On week 21, Alex Smeraglia and Johnny Hill were our winners! They had 5 fish at 15.46 pounds total. Second place went to Jeff England and Justin Hefner, who were not far behind first. They had 5 fish weighing 14.39 pounds total. They also came won Big Fish with a 5.51 pounder! Third place went to Mike and Chris Wolfe, whose 5 fish weighed 10.91 pounds total. Great job guys! Week 20: Jeff England and Justin Hefner Got the Win!
The evening started off with some thunderstorms right before the tournament began, the sky cleared up making it a good cloudy night to fish. Jeff England and Justin Hefner took 1st place with 11.63 pounds and took the Win for Big Fish weighting 3.11 pounds. Flying solo Johnny Hill came in 2nd place with 10.12 pounds and Mike and Chris Wolfe came in 3rd place with 9.80 pounds. Great job guys, only a few more tournaments left till the Classic.

The weather was nice for the group of fisherman! Johnny Hill and Alex Smeraglia take back 1st place with 15.18 pounds total! Mike and Chris Wolfe came in 2nd with 11.93 pounds. Week 14: Charlie Burns and Greg Lawson on a winning streak!
What a great night! No better way to spend the July 4th holiday evening than coming out to Lake Purdy and fishing in the Friday night Bass Tournament! This week, we had some big weights weighed in! Charlie Burns and Greg Lawson got first place with a whopping 21.56 pounds! They also got Big Fish with a 7.83 pound monster! Great job guys. Second place went to Mike Forrester and Chris Leathers whose 5 fish weighed 19.25 pounds total. They came close to getting big fish, too, with their 6.09 pound bass. Third place went to Jonathan Harris and Fischer Houser, whose 5 fish weighed 16.91 pounds. Their biggest was 5.56 pounds! Other big fish contenders were a 5.42 pounder caught by Mike and Chris Wolfe and a 5.53 pounder caught by David McGinnis and Lee Morgan. Awesome job guys! See y'all next week for week 15!

Week 13: Charlie Burns and Greg Lawson take home the gold
Last night was very stormy, lightning all over the sky and even touching down right around the lake. However, it did pass and our fishermen weighed in with some pretty good-sized bags! First place went to Charlie Burns and Greg Lawson, whose 5 fish weighed 19.80 pounds. They also got Big Fish with a 5.29 pounds total. Fantastic job guys! Second place went to Johnny Hill and Alex Smeraglia, whose 5 fish weighed 15.58 pounds. They also came super close to getting Big Fish with their 5.11 pound bass! Right behind in third place was Lee Morgan and Roy Kendrick, whose 5 fish weighed 13.11 pounds. And their biggest was 4.63 pounds! Great job last night everyone! Week 12 was great! First place went to Mike Forrester's team again, this time fishing with Scotty Lewis. They had 5 fish at 17.36 pounds total. Their biggest fish was 5.96 pounds, coming really close to the Big Fish prize! Second place went to Johnny Hill and Alex Smeraglia, whose 5 fish weighed 16.55 pounds. Right behind them in third place was David McGinnis and Lee Morgan, whose 5 fish weighed 16.33 pounds. They also got Big Fish with their 6.55 pound bass! Great job everyone!

Week 10 is done! We are getting further and further into the season, and the weeks are flying by.
This week, First place went to Johnny and Alex once again! They had 5 fish at 17.46 pounds total. And their big fish was 7.34 pounds! An absolute monster, great job guys.
Second place went to Keith and Joseph Brasher, whose 5 fish were 15.35 pounds. They came close to getting first! Their biggest fish was 4.28 pounds.
Third place went to Mike and Chris Wolfe of the Wolfe Pack, whose 5 fish were 12.22 pounds. They came close to getting big fish with their 4.62 pound bass.

Week 9: Bryan McAlpin and Brandon Brazil win First Place and Big Fish!!
What a great weekend for fishing and what a great turn out Friday night. Brandon Brazil and Bryan McAlpin came to win last Friday and ended up with the First place and Big Fish prizes! Happy Memorial Day weekend, everyone! This weekend has been busy, but we will never be too busy for the tournament! This Friday, John Brasher joined in on the fun and took the first place AND Big Fish prizes! He had 5 fish at 13.23 pounds total. His biggest fish was 5.31 pounds.. a biggun'! That's a wrap on week 3. We had a lot of big fish weighed in last night and a lot of great bags! Our fishermen had good weather conditions, as it was pretty warm yesterday, even though it was windy.
We had David McGinnis and Lee Morgan take first place. Their 5 fish totaled 15.04 pounds - our biggest bag so far this competitive season! They got Big Fish too with a 6.22 pounder!
Second place went to Jonathan Harris and Fischer Houser, who got 5 fish at 11.48 pounds total. Next up in third place was Charlie Burns and Greg Lawson. Their 5 fish totaled 10.95 pounds! They also came close to getting Big Fish with a 4.10 pound bass. Honorable mentions include Ryan and William Campbell who got a 3.49 bass last night.

Week 2: Wolfe Pack takes first!
Week 2 of our Friday night bass tournament was great! We had 16 boats participate in the tournament last night, and everyone did very well. Even though it was rainy and windy on the fishermen, they persisted through and weighed in some biggun's! As we get further into the season, the bass sizes and weights are only going to get bigger, and we saw that last night! Our first place winners were The Wolfe Pack (Tyler and Mike Wolfe), whose 5 fish weighed a total 14 lbs even! They came close to getting big fish, with their 5.04 lb bass. Second place went to Ryan and William Campbell, whose 5 fish weighed a total 12.42 lbs. Ryan and William also got Big Fish with their 5.73 lb bass! Third place went to Hayden Teems and Charles Monte, and their 5 fish weighed 10.94 lbs. Close behind them, Jeff England got fourth place with 5 fish weighing 10.56 lbs. All together, our fishermen did very well last night! We appreciate all of you coming out. The turnout last night was great! Thanks to everyone who makes these tournaments possible. We will see you next Friday!
