Fridays final tournament, the Lake Purdy Classic, was hosted for the top ten points qualifiers from our weekly Friday Night Bass Tournament. These 5 fish tournaments last 22 weeks and can be a grueling 6 hours, or a pure adrenaline rush well into the night. This year it was an extremely close battle for the first place prize. Sam & Sammy Hartzog took the win from Mike Forrester & Scotty Lewis with only a .04lb weight advantage! The Hartzog team had a total weight of 13.450 lbs. and Mike & Scotty had a total weight of 13.410 lbs. Third place was Johnny Hill with 11.535 lbs. Not only did first place payout a whopping $450, but the Hartzog team also won Big Fish with a 5.47 pound Largemouth, earning them another $200 and putting their total for the night at $650! Congratulations on the win guys! Also a big thank you to all our Friday Night fisherman & fisherwomen who come out and compete every Friday night rain or shine.
