Solar Bees
Water Quality at Lower depths leads to better Fishing all over Lake Purdy
The
Water Board has installed 14 Solar Bees in the deep water of the Old
Lake. These devices use a solar powered pump to circulate the water
from the bottom to the top. They will increase the oxygen levels at all
depths and improve the water quality. This will also benefit the fish
population. The Solar Bees are clearly visible during the day and
lighted at night. So beware, don't run into them or tie onto them with
your boat.
